Gingersnaps

1 cup butter
1.5 cups white sugar
1.5 tsp baking soda
1 tbsp cinnamon
1 tbsp ginger
1 tbsp cloves
1 tbsp molasses
1 egg
0.5 tsp salt
2 cups flour

Cream butter and sugar. Add egg. Add dry ingredients and mix well. Cool in fridge. Roll into small balls and dip in sugar. Flatten balls with a glass. Bake at 325F for 10 minutes.
